Yeah they have their own store on ebay. I bought this one. They do have a separate one for the EcoBoost's as well (But I see you have a coyote under your hood).

I've got some dynomax bullet mufflers I'm going to be welding in after the x-pipe (Before the roush mufflers) this weekend. I'm hoping it will take the drone out and reduce the volume a bit. If I like the way it sounds, I'll post up what I did.
FYI I asked about EB / GT a couple years ago and FTBR said they're the same, they just do that to keep track of the mix of buyer.

Ordered mine on Tuesday morning and it was waiting for me when I got home Thursday evening! Came with the o rings as expected, as well as a few other goodies. Now I just need to find time to throw it on

Just ordered one as well! Emailed James over at FTB a couple of times and he was great. He was honest and ā€œgood peopleā€.

Thanks for the great thread CrashOverride - I was unaware of this bracket and as soon as I read your review and comments from BmacIL I ordered the bracket via E*Bay.

I have the Whiteline trans mount insert installed, it's fine, but in truth didn't solve my issues with the shifting...I'm confident this bracket will make it worlds different, and it appears to be a strong value! I was a bit concerned about the discussion in the thread about keeping vs. removing the trans mount insert. I mean, more is more, unless less is more, right :) Anyway I reached out to Full Tilt Boogie Racing via email and received a very fast response from James. He agreed with both of you (CrashOverride and BmacIL), strongly suggesting I remove the trans mount insert. So while I'm already under there out it will come! Just wanted to share in the event others are considering this modification with the same question.

I'd also remove the shifter mount to the body. The goal is to keep the shifter and trans moving together, so you don't want that bracket fighting it.

Okay got it - the squishy rubber bracket on the shifter assembly - will do ! Thank you for the advice!

I did a bunch of work on the car yesterday, and I did put the o-rings in there. I still get a little vibration, higher up in the rev range, maybe 4000 or so. Even though it happens, it is muted and if I wanted to, I could probably tweak it a bit more with some harbor freight o-rings or a felt washer. I'm very happy with how well it shifts. I swapped out the transmission fluid with Amsoil MTF and the 1 --> 2 nibble is gone completely now.

Probably one of the best values in mods I've seen in a long time.

The billet reverse collar would probably fix that.

I think you're right. The added mass would change the resonance point and definitely dampen it a lot. Eh, I'm cheap...There is a fix for noise...The gas pedal LOL :)

That was my assumption as well so I ordered the Steeda billet lockout collar and installed that along with the new bracket. The collar is a much better fit, I'd be surprised if it rattles at all.

I also completed the install of the FTBR shifter support bracket. Their instructions are good, and as you noted BamcIL, they also tell you to remove the stock bracket. I also removed the Whiteline trans mount insert while I was at it (thanks for the advice). I haven't had a chance to drive it yet (was working on this late in the evening following work) but can say all the slop is gone when just test shifting. Here is an image of the brackets for comparison sake and of the completed install.

For anyone else considering this, it's a top notch piece of work from FTBR, the install is straight forward, and can be done on jack stands in your garage. Have several extensions, a swivel for the small bolts on the shifter body (unless you plan to drop the drive shaft), a little patience and boom!

CrashOverride thanks for the thread..

Just got my bracket installed today and it is what you stated. Shifts are direct and easier than before. The vibration is there, but it makes for a better overall experience in my opinion. More muscle car/beastly and adds to the enjoyment of driving.

It’s not for everyone, but it is a bang for the buck mod for those that like what it does!

I wonder how this will pair with the Boomba Short Throw?

I contacted them and these don't fit the 2018 so I assume they don't fit the 2019 either. I emailed through eBay and the response said a customer tried his 2018 and it didn't work. Too bad.

I suppose it might be a good thing - that FoMoCo really did tweak the MT82 (Maybe moreso than we thought) since the positioning is different? I wonder if they are close enough to any of us to throw it up on a lift and tweak their design? Not sure where they are located, but one of y'all might get a free bracket out of the deal. :)

Interesting. I was just thinking about this exact bracket. There’s info on the Blowfish option but like you said, but it’s slim pickings for the FTBR one. I’ve heard of people having luck installing the billet Steeda reverse lockout collar if the o-rings don’t do the trick. I don’t know how much it would help, but I’ve considered purchasing the FTBR bracket and putting some dynamat on it to help deadend some of the sound/vibration

I love my Blowfish bracket -- but this or an MGW will likely do the same for you.
