Do you know at what TB % they sync to 1:1 ?
I imagine it works like the secondaries of a 4bbl carb. Someplace around 1/4 throttle the 2nd TB will start to open and they will sync somewhere around 3/4 throttle.

Just my educated guess.

I wouldn't use the term "cracked" in the sense of what is available in the wild and can be accomplished in the S550 can be done or will be possible with the S650.

Ford has offered they intend to work with specific, authorized businesses to do certain things, all of which I believe remain unknown.

Stay tuned (pun intended) for more insight, once these providers begin offering product.

" This strategy is biased towards one opening at low RPM and load, but then the two work together and sync up on the way to wide open throttle. "
My little head is thinking that they did this to reduce pumping losses on one bank, similar to what is done on other engines with variable displacement / cylinder deactivation.
I'm curios to know if the actuation strategy alternates the two banks to facilitate even engine warmup and mechanical wear.
Since they altered the throttle body opening on some F150 and I guess the GT 350 at shutoff for oil consumption it's to see how this will play out in the long run.

I was looking at the dual intake on the 24 Mustang and thought it wouldn't be all that difficult to retrofit that into our cars.

A relocation of a few items, but I suspect that there's room to do it. Seems like a cool mod. Good looks and more power. Any idea if anyone is working on a kit?
But, why bother? Just get a Cobra Jet Manifold and tb.

My guess is Whipple, Roush, Livernois, an maybe Steeda. I also guess that Ford is open to others but they’re going to have to a) pay up and b) change the way they do business.

Lower oil capacity is a thing. Stock class NHRA racers run a couple quarts low all the time.

Some time back NMRA enforced a minimum wet sump oil capacity.
In some cases 3 quarts can get it safely to the end of a full power 1320 run.

If -0.5 quarts of oil = +3 HP I'll be right back. I'm going to go drain my oil and dominate!
Very impressive how an OEM is validating and taking advantage of free HP. This type of stuff typically was under lock and key at skunkworks style racing and engine Dyno facilities.

I’m learning as we go here.
Yikes,
OTA WiFi updates, no more dealer ECU flashing. Full Network Vehicle and they’re not talking just GPS.
The Right to Repair Act is taking on a whole new dimension.

HP tuners cracked the 23 corvette, SCT cracked the 23 F150 , not sure if HP cracked it yet. The S650 mustang will be cracked sooner or later.

Is the manifold separated between banks? or are both TB's open to a common plenum?
