Wanted to share my current progress and setup.
Car has been [email protected]@3800 lbs 900DA

Stage 2 D1X, 4.75 pulley shifting at 7800 (probably 13 lbs peak@7800)
Boss intake ported, 1050 injector, twin 465,-10f feed and rails Pump E85. Kook's headers, Corsa exhaust. Weld wheels, Baer Brakes.
BMR min drop front stock struts. BMR drag rears stock shocks. Cradle locks and poly diff bushings.
Stock trans, 245 4F converter, 3.55 gear.
Car has Comp Cam stg 3 NA cams from when I was doing the NA thing, seems to preform well.
1.41 60ft off foot brake on 2-1/4 year old MT R 305/45/17(28) DR

8-9 passes on the car 3 outings to get it to this point.

This winter I'll probably do the trans, swtichs to a 4F 252 converter maybe and get some more logs. I think with those changes alone it's got a 9.30 in it if that goes well next fall if I have fuel left a pull swap to a 4.63 and maybe some other tweaks. Not in a rush I like tweaking to gain a little at a time.

Some videos.

Nicely done. The D1X is a badass blower.

Pulley down ASAP!!!!!!
Working out a balance of engine rpm shift points and pulley at 7800 I'd be willing to try 4.5 at some point. I saw a different guy used 3.15 on a d1Sc but shifted near 8600 that car went 9.1@149

I'm thinking you should throw on a 4.25 and set shift points at 8k

I agree. A quick pulley change will make a huge difference. Mine went 9.1 with a 4.38 pulley.
I'll look for some other posts Toy Cobra

Was that a D1X, what fuel system. Have a link to more info. Thanks

A car should pick up just about .150-.20 et on a pulley swap so that's 9.0-8.8 range provided the temps stayed under control and the engine made it

Very impressive!

The 3/4 shift seems to be slow and then the car sounds like it lays over.. any plans for a 3.15 gear to get more out of 3rd maybe?

Due to just wanting to run the car and really not interested in logging I didn't log the last few runs.

Yeah it does do something at the top of 3rd I thought it might be the converter locking. It doesn't feel laid over in 4th.

I'll do some logs in spring and see if it does it again.

3.15 I would have to rev it to 8500 or so to make the traps. If anything I think I would try the 3.73. maybe

Typos was just supposed to say due. Lol not dude. Fixed a few others anyhow

Your idea isnt far off. Someone else ran 3.15 and a basic built motor on a d1Sc and just a few different mods that car ran a 4.6 pulley rev to 8600 went 9.1@149 that makes 16 lbs at 8500 or something

Your 3.55 is where you need to be.
