So just bought a 2017 Ecoboost Premium Package. Need to get winter tires.

I’m looking at the Blizzak WS80s but confused about what model I need.

The window sticker for the car says “20 BRIGHT MACH ALUM WHEEL”. So I’m assuming that means 20”?

I want to take the existing rims/wheels and put them on the Blizzaks and get new rims/wheels for next summer.

So my question is if my existing wheels are 20” what model of Blizzaks do I need?

Or would I be better off getting smaller tires and some cheap used rims?

Go to tire rack and enter your vechcle's year make model and trim. It will give you the OEM size and then you can filter out by snow/ice tires by that size.

As a starting point, what are the sizes shown on the sidewalls of the current tires (both front and rear)?

Or would I be better off getting smaller tires and some cheap used rims?
Traditionally, I go for smaller wheels and narrower widths with more sidewall, to dig down through any snow and to give me a bit more protection from wheel bends from potholes. Unfortunately, with my PP1, I had to stay with 19" wheels to clear the front brakes.
