To be honest, I'm not sure, the 18s may work. The EB PP comers with 19" wheels but uses the brakes that come on the base GT, not the PP Brembos. I know that 18" would be better for comfort and probably performance in the winter but I really didn't want to buy yet another set of wheels. The stock PP wheels will become my winter wheels when I buy my new MRR M600s.

So far, I see the Pirelli Sottozero 3 comes in a fitting size for the 19".
Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 N-SPEC is only .4" taller (not sure what an N-SPEC is).

Your testimonial from SD is pretty serious though!
I have 18's on my EB PP and they fit. They are close on the the front, but they fit. I went with Winter performance tires because the vast majority of the time I'm just dealing with cold and even when there is snow, I'm in the city so it never builds up much before they clear it. I have Dunlop Winter Sport 4d in 235/50/18. I got them already mounted and balanced with their own TPMS from the Tire Rack. I had no problems with the TPMS I swapped the tires on and the car found the new TPMS. I didn't need the learning tool that tire rack tries to sell you.
This way I can swap them myself whenever I want and don't have to pay for mounting and unmounting the tires.

I have the Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2 's. I went for drive in 6 inches of snow today and I had less trouble than the front wheel drive cars. (I'd recommend 50-100 bag rock salt in the trunk for a little weight)
This...

Of all the selections, these are the tire my buddy in a Nashua NH autoshop puts Nokians on the cars for folks who have to absolutely get to places. I can vouch for them on an M3 on all but really thick, wet slippy coastal snow.

NOKIANS or walk!!!

Seriously Nokians are awesome I live in North Dakota and weve got a ton of snow here. Plus i drive interstate daily to and from work about 25 miles round trip. Drove my car to Iowa 1st week of Dec and home through a blizzard.

Ive sure seen a whole lot of 4x4 trucks and SUVs in the ditch this year but not me and my 5.0 rockin the Nokian Hakkas!

10/10 im spoiled now and hope to never go a winter without nokians ever again.

Worth their weight in gold as far as im concerned!

You wont regret them!!

That's great everyone loves their Nokians, glad it's working. I AM going to be using my 19" PP wheels (9" wide). The stock size tire is 255/40x19. The closest Nokian is 255/35x19 which would be about an inch shorter. To be honest, I don't like the idea of going with a lower aspect ratio (sidewall).

I was really hoping someone had a recommendation for the stock PP wheels. If nobody else has done it, I may just go with the Sottozeros.

Mustang.... Duhhhh
Hankook makes a winter tire in 255/40R19... Icept Evo 2 IIRC. I've been using them for 2 winters now, and they are good value for money. I don't drive the mustang in deep snow, but they do very well on cold and wet pavement.

look for 245 - 265 widths in the 40 range. I run the Xi3 in 245/40/19.

I looked at those, someone else recommended them but I'd prefer to go with a Winter/Snow Performance tire than a Studless Ice and Snow since where I live in Maryland we only get about 5-10 snowfalls totaling about 3 feet a year. That way I still have pretty good performance on dry/wet cold roads.

I don't like winter performance. They usually don't have the snow traction for something in the 400hp range. I'd rather drive slower for a 3-4 months in the winter. Besides, you never know where the ice will be if your driving fast... that's how my boss totaled his mustang :headbonk:
