Delahay was officially impeached and shows that in the records. His impeachment never went to the Senate for trial. In fact, managers for the Senate trial were never even chosen. So even if Trump's impeachment never goes to trial, history will still show he was officially impeached on Dec 18, 2019 for all of history.
