There is no twisting needed when linear logic applies. All information in Russia is controlled by Putin. He delegates some release authority to others within the Kremlin (GRU, etc) as well as to some oligarchs--all with distinct limitations. So, unless you mistakenly believe the people of Russia would ever be allowed to access and release information, a thank you to Russia is a thank you to the kleptocracy that comprises the Russian government. Linear--no twists--just facts relating to an existential threat to American security (Russia).

Bill, I totally understand that things today are not what they once were. This includes proof, truth, loyalty, ethics, morality, and the list goes on and on. In this current battle there are none of these. As a human being and as an American I find all of this disgusting. And like many on both sides I just do not really care anymore.

That said Weather man put a post that "highly suggested" that Robert Powell's dealing with a foreign country had direct ties to his wife's vote on impeachment. I asked for proof. I got nothing. So, that's my proof. Just another story twisted for the good of the poster. Of course if the story were about Lisa Ann Murkowski & Verne Martell I'm sure we would be having a totally different conversation.

Although I do not regularly agree with your arguments, I believed that you are a good person. That said this with quote is terribly disturbing. I remember hiding under my school table back in the 60's during nuclear war drills. I remember stories from my Uncle about Korea and friends about Vietnam. Russia is our sworn enemy, has been for 65 years. There is nothing I would believe from them regardless is it were about Biden or Trump. They are the enemy, period. Your statement stands against everything I believe in.

Now, if this was a joke, or sarcasm, please let me know. Otherwise you will be the first person on this forum that I will ignore.

If someone breaks into a house and in the process reports to the owner that the owner's teen-aged kid was doing something they shouldn't have been doing, I guess the owner should be grateful.

The Russians (whose names you don't know) violated our sovereignty to get the information (accurate or not) that you are grateful for. That is a much bigger issue than any internal information exposed. If not, then at least address both issues rather than ignoring the continued attacks and manipulation.

It's not that difficult. Russia is our enemy and does not deserve thanks for violating our sovereignty no matter what information they may have exposed in an effort to manipulate us.

Anyway, your gratitude to Russia is clear. Horse is ready for the glue factory. Thanks for sharing.
