I see the point you're trying to make, but the book you quote (using a snapshot summary from a third party book review) doesn't support that point--it contradicts it.

Better advice to college kids would be to dig into the details and if they disagree, rather than closing their minds and barricading themselves in behind an entrenched narrative, use facts that they can back up to refute the arguments.

Schiff, whom Strassel calls “Lord High Impeacher,” is withholding documents as well. It’s all part of the larger scheme: controlling the narrative. Strassel notes how Democrats learned from their lessons regarding Trump-Russia collusion, and how the various open hearings embarrassed them and tore huge holes into the narrative because it was trash to begin with. There would have been no Mueller Investigation if his children and his election team had not been meeting with known Russian Operatives, trying to get damaging information on Hillary Clinton.

And then trying to fire everyone involved with the investigation.

There would not be any impeachment investigation going on now if he had not held up foreign aid to the Ukraine in order to get damaging information on a political rivals son.
