I have some property in Nebraska for you. Ocean front. j/kWith all due respect, please read some of the links provided below. Its a well known fact that despite being marketed as a street tire (with a 180 tread wear rating), it behaves very much like an r-comp. As such, Ford not delivering R model cars in the winter and im sure there will be a nice section in the owners manual about winter driving/storage.
Its the reality of the situation, up to you to except it or not
On a serious note, I believe we will see these cars delivered or produced over the winter months. I have run a similar compound tire on my car for years. Yeah under 40* they get a little slick, but I don't drive the car in that weather on purpose.
C'mon guys. This tire discussion is getting ridiculous. Someone like PP00001 (or anyone for that matter) is not going to drive this car in the winter months.
The percentage of these cars that will be driven daily is probably like .00001%.
Let's get back to more important discussions like is this car faster or slower than a Z/28 and will the recent discount in Z/28s cause a production delay in the GT350 because they can't move them off the lots due to the .003 seconds faster 1/4 mile
