I'm going to trust Ford's setup - at least for the first time I go to the track. I really liked BIR when I was there before, and I plan to get there this coming year as well. :cheers:Bring it to BIR and we can play with the P-cars ;) Go for a set of the N4SM R spec wheels and you can either run a 295/315 or 315 square Hoosier setup for the track and save your PSS tires for the street.
Check into Nordstern Porsche Club events. They are a blast and you get a ton of track time. I won't be able to make the NASA Time Trials up there over the 4th as my youngest is getting married, but that's a great event too.I'm going to trust Ford's setup - at least for the first time I go to the track. Just enough to keep the car under-steering. Overall it must be pretty neutral or slightly prone to under-steer, so perhaps just a small stagger was required to it that way. What I don't understand is why such a SMALL stagger on the tires from the factory. I'm starting to get more and more convinced of running squared for racing.
I wonder if that will poke a bit in the rear since the R wheels are +56 at 11.5" wide and already seem to poke some. Might need a spacer up front as well with that high offset (R front wheel is +24)I would REALLY like to do 305/30-20s all the way around on 11" wheels. N4SM says that a 35mm offset on all four wheels would be required to fit front and back properly. The 10" wheels they offer do have 35mm, but not sure how those would fit with 305s.
I decided to go with Forgestar 19x11, 56mm offset on all four corners with 29mm spacers on the front. I'll be running 305/30/19 for the track, probably NT-01s.I would REALLY like to do 305/30-20s all the way around on 11" wheels. F14s. They were on sale for 35% off. Got em shipped for under $1200 for the set. Not my favorite wheel, but good enough for the track.Which Forgestars?
Nice.... what measurements/dimensions did you get for fronts and rears? What tires are you mounting as well? New TPMS too?F14s. They were on sale for 35% off. Got em shipped for under $1200 for the set. Not my favorite wheel, but good enough for the track.
Here let me help you:

If you are doing some road course driving, I would suggest 18's. However, you will have to do research if the stock brakes will fit in the 18" wheels.
If they do, I would go with the 18" 10.5 wide wheels (weighs in at 19.05lbs, that is light as hell!). I would for sure go with the RPF1's if I owned a GT350.
I'd like to run 12's in the rear to stuff some 325's back there if possible. Not sure why you would want to run 10.5s when you can easily run 11 all around.
