Its a mix of dealers, manufacturers, and private owners. Is the Huston Auto Show, run by the local dealers or by the manufacturers?
We have an auto show here where I live, and it is run by the local dealer association. The only vehicles shown, are straight from the dealer's lots.
I went to last years and it it took place in April. Did they change the dates? Its a mix of dealers, manufacturers, and private owners.
Ive never been to any other auto shows, but why do you say its a joke? It's probably because the Houston Auto show is one of the biggest jokes on the circuit. I'll go once every five years to see if they've upped their game and they never do. A lack of Mustangs is unacceptable in this market unless they just figured they owned Houston anyways.
Exhibits are lame, too many trucks, not enough new product rollouts or big releases. The whole event has the clammy feel of the Texas State Auto Dealers Association on it.Ive never been to any other auto shows, but why do you say its a joke?
I mean can you blame them? Texas is the truck capital of the world. And new product launches almost always happen at Detroit, LA, Paris, and Tokyo.Exhibits are lame, too many trucks, not enough new product rollouts or big releases. Detroit, Miami are where you want to hit domestically. I've heard Vegas and LA is good as well but I've never been to either of those.
Geneva is the best globally but I understand the Tokyo auto show although very different but just as amazing.
