Why are tunes lagging?

Thanks for the advice, what are you planning to do to yours?

Right now, i will stick to bolt ons. I was supposed to get my SR throttle body spacer today (damned bad weather up north) and i will get my Roush axelback monday. CAI is next on the list.

Same here bolt ons for now. Would rather have a flash tuner then take it to a dyno tune place, that way I can change it as I want.

Air raid has the first CAI out for v6, any thoughts on that product?

They're known to make some pretty quality products. I am actually waiting for K&N to make a move (personal bias by me, i love the guys) but i'll probably end up cracking and getting whatever is on the market. Zack is a member on here that is building his own CAI (brave sob ) with aluminium tubing that will for sure give out a great induction sound.

The Airaid looks nice and the same one is working well on the ecoboost and gt's. I havent bother asking airaid if its actually in stock because im not paying there price for it but I've emailed a couple places about it but they don't have it in stock yet. I am waiting on a couple other places to email me back If they have it in stock I will get it because they are cheaper.

I thought usually companies provided the stock vs part dyno. Oh well, I don't trust them too much anyway since they're selling a product. It does look nice though:

The enclosement is supposed to shield it from heat, I think it looks better the the other style intakes like this one:

I can't see how this Airaid intake would be any better than the stock intake with a low restriction drop in filter.

I'm assuming somehow it is as gt owners and ecoboost owners are reporting good gains from it some without a tuner.
