Maybe she had tinted lights and because the mustang couldn't see them they decided to teach her a lesson?

What gets me is these goof balls with the cell phone in they're hand while driving in a brand new vehichle that has bluetooth tech and they are to lazy to pick up the owners manual to atleast try to pair the cell phone so they can drive and YAP at the same moment and not wonder all over the road in front of me .. Goofs ...
Yup, do all that stuff before anything is in motion.

I drive a twisty divided highway with two lanes in each direction, as well as a mountain highway with one lane in each direction and numerous turn outs. I try to be courteous, because I know that many drivers don't know the road the way I do and don't care to drive it as quickly as I do. However, there are times where things can get very frusturating.

First, most commuters on the mountain HWY are great about turnouts, and there is rarely an issue. If I approach quickly, I will get reasonably close, but won't tailgate. I'll stay maybe a full second back, which is close enough for them to know I'd like to go by, but far enough that I'm not putting too much pressure on them. People that have any sort of clue will typically use a turnout and everyone then goes on their merry way.

However, if someone doesn't use the turnout, then they either don't see me, or they are purposefully trying to be jerks (or they are scared and panicked and don't know what to do). I assume that 99% of the time they just don't realize I'm there. So, I back off a little, and as we approach the next turnout I will close the gap and give them the "flash to pass" signal, in the hopes of drawing their attention to the turnout and to me.

If they miss that turnout, they will get another "flash to pass" as well as some quick beeps at the third turnout. I'll repeat that for the fourth, and if they still don't move over then I figure they are either panicked or an A-hole who thinks they should control my driving. In either case I will give up and just lazily follow them around. Often times there are 5 other cars stuck behind us at this point, all honking as well, so I will typically pull over and let one of them try and deal with the yahoo holding everyone up.

On the divided highway I will approach and get close, give them some time to see me, then give them a quick flash, and if they still haven't pulled over when convenient, I will try to pass them on the right when safe.

In neither case do I go from zero to crazy immediately. I try to give the other drivers time to see me, to understand what to do, and to take action. If they don't after there have been several chances, I will try to get around safely and decisively.

I am one of the faster cars on these roads, but by no means the fastest, and there are often several others who are stuck behind the slowpokes, trying to get by. It really does increase the road rage when someone is not keeping up with the flow of traffic and is blocking several others.

I have also seen at least one person get a ticket (well, they were pulled over, maybe just with a warning) for not pulling out of the fast lane, which was pretty cool to see.

Not really my experience, maybe it's an FL thing but there has been another similar thread on this. Only issue I see is everybody wanting to race all the time.

On waving; I have noticed I rarely get acknowledged from any other mustang drivers, so much so that I've stopped initiating.
Yeah here in Atlanta I get the same thing, too many people want to race the newer mustang and most of the time I just dont care any longer, mainly because it seems to be a lot of maximas trying, strange. Even had one VW GTI trying to race me, not sure why, got to one light and let him take off then took off without barely pushing the gas to pass him. Some just want to try I guess.

Left lane for passing only on interstates.

Some on here admit they are assholes by how they drive. One wreck can change your life more then you want. Some need to go by their local salvage yards and realize how much the cars and trucks crunch. Just a side airbag deploying can easily change your life in a snap of the fingers. Brain damage, compressed disk in your spine. And yelp just from airbag. Worse when vechicle crunched. Trust me you don't want to have to start taking gabapentin nightly just to block damaged nerves from giving you a headache for 8+ months. Just because some jerk was in a hurry.

A lot of us remember this. Being 18-25 and full of Cummm. They (we) get nice cars and then psychologically think we own the road and everyone should get out of our way and if not.. road rage. Im glad I grew out of that and look back and some of the stuff I did and really slap myself.

I like the new driving rules my son who is learning right now how to drive has to follow to get his license. Should be a lot stricter and should last until 25.

<25 years olds just don't realize the hormones that are utterly blasting through their pea brains (well, unwise brains):)

I ALWAYS drive in the furthest right lane on the interstate unless the merging traffic from the ramps are trying to get in. I just don't want to have to put up with all that "shit or get" nonsense in the fast lanes. Here on I-95 in Florida, you have three lanes as followed:

Fast lane, all the way to the left: Going at least 85-100+ MPH.
Middle lane: Going at least: 72-85 MPH.
Slow lane, all the way to the right: Going at least 60-72 MPH.

I, personally, don't like to cruise over 75 MPH on the highway due to more gas consumption, higher RPMS causing engine stress and cabin noise, and less braking distance if in the event I needed to stop due to an accident ahead, debris, etc.

I had some dumb ass pull off shoulder of road when I pulled out of our subdivision and hot behind me and kept drifting back and then speeding up almost rear ending my daughter and I. He followed us for over 20 minutes. Mi drove to police station and he even followed. Police station hours in my town are only M-F 9-5 and it was a Sunday morning and I had left my cell phone at home. At one point he pulled beside us and said "you in a hurry? You think you are a badass don't you?" I did nothing to this guy at all to give him any indication I was in a hurry.

Little did he know I had a front and rear facing dash cam. I met up with a police officer that night and gave him the footage. He came back later that night with a police lineup and went on to make an arrest. Definitely consider a dash cam. Small price to pay for evidence. Video speaks for itself.
