Why are Guards Green's so expensive?

I thought they didn't offer Guard Green in 2017. I was under the impression, 2016 was the last year. I learned something today.
If I could have found one in guard green, I would have loved that!

I will say guard looks kinda weird on other ford vehicles though.

Guard Green is one of the richest Mustang colors and I wish I could've gotten a 2017 in that color. Ford knows what they're doing in suppressing supply of it. In Magnetic and Guard, it gives this car a very upscale look and cool elegance a Camaro can never hope to match.

They need to bring out the Gotta Have It Green

Old Post but 20/20 hindsight. GHG has been available for a while now and I think I've seen 2 of them so far. Not a big seller by any standard.

I love the guard metallic color, and when I found a V6 S550 In that shade, I bought it. Rare is right. In 4 months of searching I only saw a handful in that color and 2 were the eco-b.

As a new guy, I've been hunting for a couple of weeks now. I can nab 2016s GT's with the premium package + performance package, with usually less than 12k on the clock for under $30k. New 2017s, you can find steals and pick them up at $32k.

So why is it almost any 15-16 Guards Green GT w/premium and PP 6MT are going for above average it seems? I would hardly think it's solely because of the color ( as much as I love it )
