If he's got 3.15 now he'll need the other variant of the clutch pack, non torsen diff, but here they are...Fatguy, just get some low diff gears put in by the local shop ... easy-peasy and way cheaper than anything else.

Yes, 100% serious. I think the shorter gear will give you the feel you want. It'd be far more so with a Coyote, but never underestimate theeeffectiveness of gear reduction. That's a major reason the trucks you drive feel the way they do.You guys are actually serious about this?
I was looking to buy the C6 LS7
However, the cash may have to go to the .orgs and one of my gang who needs my help. If I wasn’t a cheapskate everything I cherish would be sol. So thanks for the advice.

What they are saying is true. My Pathfinder is dual range 4WD. 4Lo is great for spinning all 4 off-road.You guys are actually serious about this?

This ^ gears was the absolute best mod I did on my previous Mustangs. Absolutely made a difference in the low endYes, 100% serious. I think the shorter gear will give you the feel you want. It's because there isn't one...not that you don't already know this. There are some aftermarket tuners who have made some solid rollers that rev to the sky (the Detroit Speed LS7 powered 87 Camaro pops into my head).Still waiting to hear about this production 8000 rpm pushrod engine.....
Gale Banks is already developing a Turbo setup for the 7.3
Many more will soon to follow.
banks does some gas stuff but mostly diesel since they specialize in parts for trucks. They have no car applicationsIsn’t Gale Banks mostly Diesel turbos?
Where did you hear this? There is a set up for the 7.3 Diesel but I see nothing for the upcoming gas motor. That’s more of a Cletus McFarland/Garret 1320 type of thing...
BTW: I took my dad down to the driver licensing office to see if they would renew it one more time (he is 86). It was like taking him to the electric chair. He’s another car guy so losing the license sucks big time for him.
No word yet...
In case you haven’t noticed, erik427 continually makes up stuff, posts it as fact, then either says his sources are secret or acts offended that we might even ask for sources.Where did you hear this?...
