Actually attempted robotic automation on car assembly lines almost ruined the American motor industry over the last 4 decades. Ask Elon Musk, he knows and has admitted to making this mistake all over again. keeping those robots in spec and capable is a variable in and of itself.I'm sure that these guys do a fine job at what they do. No one is questioning the expertise of our UAW brothers here. Simply making the point that the "hand built" thing is not necessarily better than a primarily robotic engine assembly process. Robotics eliminates the human error factor. A robot did not get drunk and beat the old lady last night, capiche?
Doyle F. Nanney & James Williams for mine too. J0953.Hi, I don't see the name Doyle F Nanney and James Williams for the VIN G 5163 !!! May be Ford Performance can answer that some of us. Thanks.
Meanwhile, @honeybadger is like "bitch, please."
When you get a new long block, the builders are unknown, as the dealer just replaces the builders block that came with the first motor.Doyle F. Nanney & James Williams for mine too. J0953.
Nice to see at least Doyle has been putting these together for a few years.
Mine is not a replacement engine. (KNOCK on wood)When you get a new long block, the builders are unknown, as the dealer just replaces the builders block that came with the first motor.
