I want to put down #'s like this :(The TVS blowers dont make a lot of noise out of the box, there is a nasty 11-14 TVS car that runs at our local track that has a small pulley and it screams. I would certainty put more into your decision than sound however.
Twin screw will generally make a higher peak horsepower number but the TVS will have torque on its side.

I hear ya, Phase 2 shouldn't be too far out. Phase 3 will follow.I want to put down #'s like this :(
Can't wait! Just hope each phase isn't $5kI hear ya, Phase 2 shouldn't be too far out. Phase 3 will follow.
For reference in the past P1-P2 $799 and P1-P3 $1499 so it shouldn't be quite that bad depending on how high they go with P3, there have been talks of a P4 possibly as well. Can't wait! Just hope each phase isn't $5k
Along with a new EO? After all, changing the pulley smaller than tested requires new testing.I hear ya, Phase 2 shouldn't be too far out. Phase 3 will follow.
We have real world comparison's, IAT2 is SIGNIFICANTLY different. And while some can post 1 dyno graph of something they are working on. The fact is, it's already available LOL, it comes with every one of our kits. Nearly 150hp more! A year later, other's have to regroup to try and compete. My TVS setup doesn't have much blower whine but I'd put it up against any whipple setup running the same boost. Any takers? Nov 14th in Rockingham or anytime in Charlotte. Let's get some real world comparo's instead of all these dynojet #'s.
If you ever come down to Tampa, I'll put mine against your TVS anyday. I had a chance to buy the tvs kit for a lot less than the whipple kit and I'm really glad that I went with the whipple. Honestly, your living under a rock if you think that the tvs kit out performs the whipple. My TVS setup doesn't have much blower whine but I'd put it up against any whipple setup running the same boost. TVS is better as long as you are not above 18-19psi. Above that, the Whipple shines. That was my experience with my GT500.My TVS setup doesn't have much blower whine but I'd put it up against any whipple setup running the same boost. Any takers? Not accurate. While the it's not a huge difference, there is in fact a difference. But, you have to factor in the manifold, intercooler, inlet, heat exchanger, MAF, filter.... as its a "kit", not just the SC in this application. You can have an amazing supercharger, but you need to surround it with some good parts as well.TVS is better as long as you are not above 18-19psi. Above that, the Whipple shines. Oh, I completely agree. Its a package deal. Not accurate. While the it's not a huge difference, there is in fact a difference.
