I used Spal 10" curved blade fans, not as load but you can still here them. I also have a switch under the drivers foot well for when I don't need them.
I have contemplated the toggle switch myself. But those of us older guys, that wen't through a smoking pot phase, can't trust the memory to remember to kick the dam things on when I should. LOL

LOL...yeah I hear yah! Well my switch has a blue LED light when its on so I know for sure. I don't think it would hurt anything if it was left off, just would leave some power on the table due to calibration pulling timing.

Did you start the engine? The new tune would only turn on the fan and WP when rpm is above 200rpm.

lol You ain't kidding. Theres NO DOUBT when those bastards are on. I start my car outside, and in my house I can hear the fans over the exhaust. Not at the beginning of a cold start, but once the RPM's level off and exhaust volume goes down... all I hear is those fans. What can ya do tho.
What I don't get is why Whipple is not controlling the WP and fan separately.
Like if IAT2 is lower than 100F turn fan off. The WP could be tied to fuel pump.
I mean I understand there will be some delayed cooling going that way but the fans are optional for normal operation so it shouldn't be on all the time.
If they were worried about delayed cooling, they can also look at how fast the temperature is rising when below 100F, if its more than say 4F per second meaning the SC could be in boost mode, it will kick in even below 100F to sooner. It's all in programming.

Make sure you have 12V on pin 30 and 12V between 85 and 86.

Check the relay socket, the 2 green wires from the IMRC connector in pins 85 & 86, one will have 12v with ignition on, the other will have ground when the engine is running and be open, no ground when engine is off. Pin 87 feeds power to the inter cooler pump and triggers the dual fan relay

Ok. Pin 30 does have 12 volts. Pin 85 has 12 volts with ign on. Pin 86 has 0 volts with engine off and has 2.5 volts with engine on.. And im not getting any volts out of pin 87 with car on or off. 87 might be the problem eh?

Okay, pin 87 should be open (disconnected) to ground when engine stopped and closed (connected) to ground when engine running.
Whatever is supposed to be pulling 87 to ground when engine is running is not working. Check wire connectivity from relay to plug.
