Hey guys I have a few questions here if any of you can help me out. So I just found out I need to get the 72# injectors to get the flight control, ok not a problem, but I wanted to pulley down to the 3.625. Can this be done on stock cats and headers or will I see an issue as far as heat temps go?

You can use 3.625" with stock exhaust just need the 72# squirters and 93 octane. Maybe even 91 but the man in charge will have to confirm that.

I've got 93 octane here and when you say squirters I am assuming you mean injectors right?

I'm in California running the 3.625 pulley & 72 # injectors, 3" cat back w/ no headers on 91 octane and have been using 1 can of the VP Racing Octanium per tank and it runs great. Just upgraded to the 3.625 pulley and no issues what so ever. Really looking forward to the new cal and flight control software to see how much extra I can squeeze out of it. My car is a manual.

For some reason I just have a hard time adding a $20 bottle of something to every tank of gas....that's like almost doubling your fuel cost....I guess I'm just cheap, lol

I get it on eBay at average $15 per bottle and well worth it. What do they say.....If you're going to play....you gotta pay  Remeber it's not required, just an option. That's just one of many beautiful things about the Whipple SC tunes :headbang:

Ya I see what you're saying, but it kind of is required if you run the 3.625 pulley isn't it? Considering we don't have 93 here?

For now it is but with the new flight control and new cal it won't be as their new cal's have a feature that will auto adjust to the octane that you're running I believe.

Glad to hear there is something as there is a chance I may move back to California by the end of the year.

SoCal. May be taking a job with Anaheim PD. I used to live in Oceanside when I was stationed on Pendleton from 2010-2013. I miss the open roads and nice scenery. Don't miss the gas prices and 91 octane though lol I just paid $1.78 for 93 today :headbang:

Thanks man, it'd be great to find a good crew, since I got a pretty great one out here right now. Couldn't find that last time I was in Cali. Too much drama with the clubs and people I tried to hang out with. I have that in my work life don't need that in my personal life.
