Same here on my 15I’m on a similar boat.. except I’m not sure if I should go with a Whipple gen 4 or gen 5 for a 2016..
Reasons?If I was buying a supercharger for 15-17 i'd get gen 5. It's an easy decision
A) Larger volume, 3.0 liter versus 2.9 literReasons?
Why do you think that? Do you have any videos about the edlebrock compared that we could watch?edelbrock 2650 is king atm...
Probably because it's the current world record holder for Supercharged 2018+ cars:Why do you think that? Do you have any videos about the edlebrock compared that we could watch?
This right here looks like it would make a h*ll of a difference. Can somebody confirm how much lower the IAT's are compared to previous designs?A) Larger volume, 3.0 liter versus 2.9 liter
B) Better rotor design; gen 5 features a 3 male/4 female rotor design versus the 3/5 rotor design of the prior gens. The 3/4 design responds better the harder it's pushed
C) Absolute breathtakingly large intercooler brick. Gen 5 flips the blower upside down (Style seen most familiarly with the GM LSA/LT4 blowers) which allows for the largest surface area intercooler brick on the marker
Agree - based on what I have seen that is the plan. They seems to be top notch. I already have a VMP on my 03 Cobra so I want to try something different plusIf I was buying a supercharger for 15-17 i'd get gen 5. It's an easy decision
Haha good analogy. LOL I do agree that the Gen 4 does look better under the hood.Any of them will blow a stock motor. I’d go with a Gen 4 whipple. Belt changes look easier and I personally think the intercooler on top design is ugly. Yes it definitely performs but it’s like a fat girl that can blow good. You ain’t gonna show that off very much.
