I hope your right! I have had shit luck with this install, none of which is Whipples fault i might add. The biggest PITA was a broken crank bolt.
I wouldn't worry brother. To make sure, get someone to shut the car down while you're outside the car. Get close to the front driver side wheel when it shuts down, bet u hear it clear as day right there. Anything that was an actual issue should give you some drive ability issues, and or a CEL.

Care to tell me how to avoid a broken crank bolt? Seriously, I read something like that and my brain makes me need to know how to avoid that.

Balancer install tool. Makes a world of difference for removal and install.
That's exactly what broke in the crank! I was installing the balancer with a long reach install tool and the balancer went on like a breeze. Up to the point where the balancer was seated and then the tool instantly snapped. I was like WTF!
So I bought left handed drill bits, removed balancer, soaked it with PB Blaster overnight and drilled out the next morning. Not really hard, just a pita pulling and getting all the junk together.

Ended up welding a piece of all thread to a old bolt and used that to install the balancer.
