Whipple 2.9L is no more

Whipple currently discontinued the 2.9L kits for 15-17 Mustang’s. Just a FYI. I just upgraded to the Gen 4 on my car and was later going to put the Gen 2 on my son’s car but they are no longer selling the parts box. So I am stuck with a extra supercharger I can’t use or sell because no one else can get parts either. Frustrated.

I recently purchased a 2.3 whipple for a 2003 cobra new.

I'm surprised they dropped the 2.9 so quickly since they still make the 2.3. That being said, it's certainly redundant only being slightly smaller than the all-new 3.0.

Yeah the lower manifold is no longer produced

Wow thats rough. I feel for ya. Good to know though that i have to be extra careful with all my Gen 3 kit parts.

They are still producing the 2.9 kits for the 03-04 cobras. Just not the crusher systems.
