Now just think if that was a 3.0 Gen5 instead.......

Oh wait Whipple refuses to support that for the 2015-2017 S550........

Perhaps gen 4 will be the gen 5 version for 15-17 cars. Got to sell enough gen 3s first.

One of the great misconceptions about "boost". Boost is not a measure of air flow. It is a measure of back pressure. Open up the intake and exhaust, make the S/C more efficient and you have less restriction for the same amount of air flow. Less restriction = lower "boost psi" reading, but you're still flowing more air which means more power....

815 rwhp on straight 93,no octane booster, that's hard to believe.

You guys said the same thing at 700rwhp. Just because it's hard to believe doesn't actually mean it wasn't done....
Just run it to 8g and hit 900.

Remember horsepower equals torque times rpm divided by 5252. Then only way to increase power is to increase torque or rev it higher. I always call bs when people say I make 900 whp when they rev it out to near 8 grand just to claim I have 800 whp but in reality they make slightly more than 600lb feet of torque.

Well maybe that's because I've been around multiple setups at multiple power levels and spend a shit load of time at the track and have never seen any setup hit that power level on straight 93.I have a real.good friend with a whipple making around 750 and that with 93 and octanium and he has to go to ms109 or e85 to go any higher.

Oh, he has a Gen 3? Or G2 making 750rw? No way new cal can't make more power either? Everyone has exhausted all avenues?

The G3 makes 30-40RWHP more with no changes and gets even bigger gains at higher blower speed. Just like people didn't think we could make 700RWHP, naysayers will say the same thing here, but the fact is, its being done and will be done more and more now that G3's are shipping. Combine the G3, big intercooler, good weather, big heat exchanger, big IC pump, etc., your gonna have big power.

By the way, a ton of people are making well over 800RWHP on E85 with G2 SC's, this setup on E85 would be even higher.
