Just had mine on the dyno today. 95 degrees in the dyno bay and the pull was in 4th gear. The operator only took it to 6800 on the first pull.... he is a camaro driver. I had him beat on it after that. He is trading in his camaro now.

Thanks bro! I would have liked to see the torque in 5th but with 3.31 gears and 28" tires, the operator didn't feel comfortable hitting 200 on the dyno lol.

From what I've heard and seen, the roush has some issues specifically with the tune. They were testing a few weeks ago out here at Milan, and best time with drag radials was 11.70. I've also heard from one of the most well known tuners in the D to run from the roush. He said with their cal in the car, best they could do was 550 on his dyno.

I think the hardware is great with the roush, but the tune makes it useless. That coupled with mine being on backorder for over a month, and now it being almost indefinite, caused me to cancel my order and place one for a Whipple today.

I'm leaning towards a retune from vmp myself once I get the kit

The phase 1 kits are available. It's the bap, plugs, pully and the injectors. Or a combo
Of them. I can't believe it takes that long to get those parts together to complete a kit

Phase 1 kits are backordered as well. That being said, why buy a phase 1 just to go and buy the vmp tune? You'd be better to just get the vmp kit and have a better housing as well.

VMP is also backordered waiting on head units.

Dang. My cars one of the joe meyers ford cars that's sold with the roush blower
So I've already paid for the kit and there labor on the instll

Not that I can't do the work myself but at the time it seemed easier. I'll just wait
For a few weeks until it is available I guess

Mine's the same deal, but through north bros in westland, mi. They have been awesome though. They cancelled my order with roush and bought the Whipple from lethal today for me. If your waiting on Roush, it'll be a while for sure. The rep called me personally and said no sooner than August 1 for a ship date. I'm in manufacturing, so to me that means maybe mid August my blower would've shipped. Screw that.

They really have no choice, unless they prefer to give you a refund. Keep in mind, the vmp tune cannot be flashed over a roush tune. That means you will have to lay the dealer to take it back to stock. Then you will have to buy an sct tuner as well as pay for an email tune just to be where you would have been with the vmp from the get go. If it's a TVS you desire go with the VMP. if not, get then get the Whipple

I've never heard of that before at all. I've been around tuning for a long time. Every tuning device that I have seen copies the current tune on your car and the flashes it with the new tune. I know a guy that had a roush tune, decided to go with Lund and flashed the car without it being put back to stock.
