Which shocks and struts, Koni ( which ones), Steeda, Billstein? Just a weekend warrior for spirited driving, I plan on doing Steeda sport progressive springs at the same time. Perhaps one day I might try an Autocross event or a day at the Dragstrip.

Not on your list but highly recommend the Ford Performance Track suspension kit, comes with the front springs mounted, front and rear sway bars. Lots of people on here have it, myself included, and are very happy.

This is the easy button option and it works well.

With the progressive springs - they will pair amazingly well with the Fixed Pro Action Shocks & Struts - this would be categorized as our Sport Progressive Package.

Great driveability & will react when pushed for spirited driving!

They are currently on sale to boot!

I put Ford Performance Track shocks and struts with Steeda linear springs and it was a huge improvement. My car was a Performance Pack to begin with. It was information off this forum that helped me make the decision.

Generally I'd recommend minimum drop linear springs and a monotube shock like the Bilsteins or Ford Performance shocks (unless you simply must have the drop and you don't care all that much about handling, then get the progressives)

The Koni orange or Steeda non adjustables are a twin tube and twin tubes can be a little bit harsher over noisy roads versus monotubes. Koni yellows / steeda adjustables are great if you're autocrossing or tracking, or if you want to adjust them for spirited back road drives and then set them back to soft for daily driving. In that case the adjustability outweighs the monotube/twin tube thing.

so if you want like a standard or single adjustable, the Steeda stuff is really nice

If you plan on making things up like between track and Street and drag strip

Some double adjustables like the Viking berserkers would be a great option because you’re going to be able to have full control over compression and rebound over different circumstances

Just really comes down to how much you wanna spend

I’ll send a DM amd we can go over your goals. Your also welcome to call - 855-827-7223 - www.beefcakeracing.com

I went with Bilstein B6 shocks and struts paired with Steeda Ultralite Linear Springs on my base 300A '22 GT. Handling is really nice and responsive and the rear end float is gone.
Ride quality is perfectly agreeable. Can daily or road trip this combo without complaints. Will probably grab swaybars next, though she only rolls noticably in high g corners.

While you're already in the rear end, it's definitely worth doing an IRS subframe lockout and brace kit, such as the BMR CB005. You'll have to drop the subframe down on either side, anyway, to get the OEM springs out. Might as well do the other parts while you're in there.

I've been more than pleased with this setup. She plants and moves with much more confidence and consistency now.

Already did the lockout kit before I put the last set of tires on and had it lined up. Shocks, springs, and a shifter will be this winters project I think.

This is the way to go if you're not going coil-over.

Definitely not going the coil overs route, I just want it to ride a little better and I prefer the slightly lower look.
There are a lot of good reasons for not going coil-over. I think the FP combo overall, though, is the best canned combo of ride heights, spring rates, roll stiffnesses, damping, etc. None are perfect, but this seems to be a nice compromise for most people who want a good street manners/track capable suspension.

Ford Performance track shocks and struts with Steeda linear springs. I did my PP1 a year ago abd it handles like a go kart.
