Aftermarket struts and shocks

I've heard reviewers say this Mustang (as past cars) would benefit from aftermarket struts. Moreover, everyone so far seems to be using the stock struts with their springs, which seems suboptimal. Has anyone heard about aftermarket struts? Where are Koni and Bilstein? From a handling point of view, it might be quicker around the track to have a PP car with only a strut/shock swap with HD Bilstein's or sport Bilstein's than with only a spring change -- that is if you were to only make one change, the struts might serve you better than the springs -- love the lowered stance though...

I won't change springs till I can change the struts in the front and shocks in the rear at the same time. Lowering it an inch isn't worth the effort and the imbalance it causes.
