just extend the wires yourself, that's what we would do
The wiring of these is pretty simple.

I'm sure if I had to I could cut/extend the wiring. Could you guys share what you did to make yours work? Sorry if you already posted somewhere else. I still see people mentioning O2 sensor extensions.

Was trying to find a video but had no luck. Soldering is a must, we simply used the same type wiring and gauge.

Thanks for the replies Beef and Jayman! Now if only we can figure out how to run longtubes without O2 sensor extensions! You couldn't pay me to run longtubes with extensions on my car!

In a few weeks a local M6G member is getting a Corsa exhaust system and if I get a chance to work on it I'll check out the wiring harness to see if there is any way to get the stock connectors to reach.
What is wrong with 02 extenders?

That's what Rev Auto did to mine - they just extended the wiring. Worked out great, just takes patience to do it right.

I've got some Raychem solder connectors here at work and they make wiring a breeze. I wouldn't have a problem doing that to my car but in case someone wanted me to install their headers they would probably be hesitant of such a permanent modification to their car.

they've been known to lose connection

Like beefcake said they have had a shoddy past, loosing connections and not being able to keep moisture and corrosion out. Most of the time you get a simple check engine light, sometimes rough idle and overall poor driveability.

Never purchased any, but I've seen great results on the Corvette Forums (and here) with ARH. If I were to buy, that's where I'd start.

Thanks for the good words, we have been part of more C5/6/7 records than all other makers combined.

This is the system we went with, a full ARH system. Great system, great sound, great quality and fantastic power.

We were actually surprised how well the system was with the O/R X, no rasp, not obnoxious and an actual conversation can be had in the car.
Thanks Jay/Dan, we will be looking out for the HP/TQ gains and more vids, 5.0 sounds great!!

This is true with the cheaper offshore sourced connectors, we don't cut corners and invested in the best O2 wire extensions available, No compromise, at the end of the day spending a little more pays dividends in the long run.

Does ARH offer long tube headers that neck down to 2.5" for the inlet of my x pipe? If so, I can't seem find them.

Are the ARH headers a direct bolt on into my MRT exhaust?

Why are you all going to run long tubes then restrict the flow after them? If you want to run headers to their pontential, run a full 3" system back.

a lot of people buy catbacks to start, then add headers later.

we ran 9.0's with a factory connect setup

The full ARH setup necks down to 2.5" at the axleback portion. They made a pretty good argument as to why as well. Ask them.

They are not, a modification is necessary. You would need to cut the mid pipe. After talking to ARH about using lead pipes that will directly connect to other cat backs, it may happen.

I'll keep you guys updated on that.

I'm thinking about going with the SW with the high flow cats. I don't want to shatter windows when I cold crank it.
