Hello everyone,
I currently have a 16 non performance pack gt with a roush phase 1 blower. I purchased the car used over about a year ago and ever since I bought it, the car sat lower than all the other stock gt’s I would see and I assume it’s because the additional weight in the front because the blower but the rear also sat a little lower too which I do have a spare tire in the trunk but I don’t believe it would lower it that much. The question is ,I want about a 1/2” drop all the way around but considering the additional weight of the blower, would a 1/2” drop spring make the car sit even lower say 3/4” to 1” due to the additional weight? What drop springs is everyone running with blower setups? I have seen the bmr sp763 setup but I am not a fan of the rake stance, I want an even drop. I was looking at the eibach pro kit and steeda progressives, I am just worried the car will sit too low with the additional weight since it a little lower already with stock springs or will it work? What do you guys suggest?thanks

I’m running the BMR min drop (SP763) on my 20 GT with an Edelbrock and it sits pretty level.

That bmr sp763 actually look really good. I guess I was just scared of the 7/8” in the front and 1/2” in the rear measurements but it looks really good on your car. How do they ride and are the wheels 19” or 20”?

They’re 19 inch wheels and it rides better than stock.

I would go with springs with a higher spring rate, due to the extra weight of the blower (it's more than just about final ride height; its about the springs ability to control the extra weight and reduce roll, nose dive, etc.). I'm using bmr sp083 with a whipple. Front settled about 1/4" or so in the front after the blower. Here is the result:

How is your rear traction with those sp083s?

Not the best, but think its more the 750whp than the springs lol. Car is set up for all around performance & handling. If I was primarily doing drag, I'd go for a lower rear rate.
