And I know itās a crapshoot for info as Iāll get a million different answers but I always hear some say e70 some say e75 and some say (like my tuner above e75)
Yeah fair enough - my local guy is a pretty damn reputable tuner around my parts so I have no doubts about the tune. Just trying to play it on the safe side
This current tank I have in it tested at e80 - Iām not a tuner so I canāt speak on anything of the sort but itās a pretty aggressive tune maybe thatās why e78?

Okay cool - first time doing so just wanted to be safe. Drove about 20-30 miles since switching to FF tune so Iād assume all 93 should be out of the lines
Hey all - very recently switched over to my FF tune as Iām trying to run the remaining 93 (had like 4miles to E) out of the system and put in a tank of e85 (e82-e83) how long should I wait to swap over to the e85r tune? Run out this tank then switch with a new one? Run out half ? Etc⦠obviously...
Okay awesome - thanks for the insight - now did your tuner specifically set it up that way to compensate for the different ethanol content or does it just do that automatically?
Yeah so Iāve heard š - I plan to drive the car semi often (donāt daily) during spring/summer then switch back to 93 when I put the car away next winter. Iām itching to bring the car out right now but this cold shitty weather wonāt let up in Pa/Jersey
Yeah fortunately I have two spots I would go to (a 30 min drive will fill up some cans) but the one is near a track and regularly tests e78 and above in spring and summer which is when Iāll be using it
E85 is something Iāve never done before because itās not exactly the most reliable to get in Jersey. So Iām a bit of a noob when it comes to this particular topic and want to make sure Iām more knowledgeable before getting a new tune from my tuner. Heāll have answers but I just want to hear...
Okay, that makes sense - moreso answering the main point of my question. What I was meaning to say was essentially I switch to e85 tune right - the ethanol content has to test somewhere in that 70-85 range to run it correct? My confusion here was that if I canāt get e85 that tests at 85+ Iād...
Okay so in other words if Iām not confident (testing weāll say e70-e80) I should run the flex fuel tune and only the e85 tune when Iām testing 85 or above?
