I put the fob in the little tray in front of the shifter and my other keys either in the passenger seat or center console. I like it because it only means I need my fob when I out and the rest of the keys can always stay in the car.

I do the exact same just all other keys stay in the center console never the passenger seat. I have this vision in my head of getting in a wreck and having a key stuck in my head when it's all over lol.

It's always in the front right pocket of my shorts and the only other key attached to it is my house key.

When I go to the dealer or another place to get something serviced on the car I always bring my other key and it is in my left front pocket of my shorts, don't trust a lot of those folk.

The guy that tinted my windows really scared me, it took him like forever to figure out how to start my car and stuff and when I got it back I had to reset the infotainment system by taking the lead off the battery, don't know what the hell he was doing, lol.

i usually take the physical key out when i get my car serviced or washed, just in case they somehow lock the fob in the car. ive seen posts about that happening, even though it shouldnt be possible.

In my pocket mostly but sometimes i put them in the sunglasses holder left of the steering wheel. Get in open and put glasses on my face, put keys in and close. Reverse process when I get out. Doesn't work all the time though because unlike Cory Hart I don't wear my sunglasses at night.

I hear Camaro drivers keep them in their front middle pocket since they have lots of empty space there.
:p

But yeah, cupholder

I try and keep the fob protected from getting scratched. So it can't be in my pocket together with a pen

It's unfortunate that cargo shorts are out of fashion these days since, I use just about every pocket for something. I also leave my keys in my pocket. We have a gun pic thread in off topic, is there a EDC thread?

Well, I don't like having my key fob, building key, loft key, work office key, and my handy dandy bottle opener in my pocket ever, let alone when sitting down and the jeans tighten up a bit around that area. Maybe I should start carrying a man purse... :headbonk:
Right pocket for phone, left pocket for wallet and fob. Wallet and fob are always fighting each other for space. Fob ends up below wallet and then wallet jabs hip when getting in car.

Been thinking of a man bag. They are bringing them back, but even better!

I still rock them, they are way too handy. Plus the shorts that are in style these days just don't really do it for me.

I think that is a false rumor going around the Internet because everywhere I go, most guys that have shorts on have cargo shorts on. I'll never stop wearing them. Like you I always carry stuff in my pockets.

Same here. Cargo short pocket on the lower left usually has my keys. The days where I am not wearing shorts then it usually goes in the cup holder. Otherwise I keep it in my jacket pocket.
