Seems kind of ridiculous that the 2021 build app is still online when you couldn't order a 2021 past October. 2022's are built and shipped. Mine will be here in two weeks.

To save you the time, the new colors ... went for the race red 2022 in the end (and now desperately waiting to get the car built and delivered) ... :-)

Purple is black in anything short of harsh sunlight imo

And that green render is way too metallic if the bronco shade is the same paint. It's more of a deep forest green and only metallic under strong direct sun.

We answer this question every year. Ford is always behind updating the configurator and once they do it takes the rest of the year trying to fix all the errors (which they never did for 21’).

Also the colors on the configurator are neither real nor accurate. The pics of real cars already posted aren’t much better because of the variable’s. Until you actually see a color in the metal it’s a crapshoot.

These are renderings and just approximations. But at least it’s more than we have here in the states.

I cannot wait to see my Grabber Blue Metallic in person. The pictures aren't telling the whole story, because it's a metallic version of Grabber Blue, not the same as the 2017 or 2013/14 version. Not saying better (I prefer non-metallic), but it will have a different look and sheen especially in sunlight.

actually I was up close and personal with it Sunday on a Bronco and I was swayed. I really wanted a yellow car but can't be ordered obviously and the car an hour from me while equipped exactly how I'd like (EB HPP+HP 6MT), I'm not paying Invoice for it. Yet. When I can order a 2022 for 4% below invoice or better (at Koons no less).

They both have colored specular highlights that aren’t shown. Green is gold, purple is blue. Im not sure the bronco is a great example as it is very flat and has minimal chance to develop large highlights.

These renders are always misleading imho.

I don't trust comparing the colors from other model cars. They're not made in the same factory and chances are aren't exactly the same, especially with regard to how much metal flake they may have in them.
