I'm trying to wrap my head around this wheel offset math. I have the PP wheels on my car now, which I believe are 19" x 9" (45et) on the front and 19" x 9.5" (52.5et) on the rear. I added spacers on the front which are 25mm and on the rear are 20mm. So, with my math this is now equal to a 20mm offset on the front and 32.5mm offset on the rear. Hopefully I'm deciphering that correctly? I like the stance on the car with this set up. Tires are 275 rear and 255 front (stock setup).

So my question is. If I want to go with either 19" or 20" aftermarket wheels and eliminate the spacers and still maintain the stance I have now. Say for shits and giggles a 9.5" on the front and a 10.5" on the rear. The 9.5" on the front should have around a 25mm offset? And the 10.5" rear should have around a 44.5mm offset?

Hopefully I'm in the ballpark, if not would someone please explain what I'm doing incorrectly. Thanks.

Your math is correct but I think you should consider the tire sizes. For example, if you will be putting 275s on the front they will stick out 10mm more so a 30mm offset would be equivalent to 20mm with the 255s. If going with 265s then the 25mm would be equivalent to your current setup.

Thanks for the reply. I didn’t mention tire sizes and of course that throws in another equation. I was thinking that I may move the current rear tires which are 275’s up front and perhaps go with 295’s on the rear. So I would obviously have to take that into consideration.

I concur

We agree, the numbers are correct  Wheel spacers effectively reduce offset.

Here's a visual of the purposed fitment:

That’s perfect, thanks a lot. Now I don’t have to do the math.
