Hi all,

I did a search but was unable to find the answer to my question. I would like to get the AMR Wheels for my 2022 GT from American Racing.
I'm looking at 19x11 for the rear which will fit but I want the 19x10 for the front.
The 19x10 have a 48mm offset with a 7.39 Inch backspacing. Looking at other 10" wide rims it seems like I might be able to put an 8mm spacer on the front to allow them to fit. I think. Am i interpreting wheel offset backwards?
Not adverse to replacing the wheel studs with longer ones.

Thanks for your help.

It subtracts. So if you have a +48mm offset wheel, you end up with a +40 by using an 8mm spacer

You'll want to count your threads, 8mm might be near the limit of the stock studs

Thanks very much robvas. Sounds like I can use the rims I want! Front studs are easy peasy.

I would assume that they are going to be an aggressive fit already and won’t need spacers. If they are selling them specifically for the Mustang and from a place that specializes in Mustangs, I think you will be happy.

They are listed as 'rear-only' because of the offset. You will generally hit a strut with the tire if you put that on the front, so guys will use a small spacer to get them to clear.

8mm spacer is not recommended on the stock studs. The biggest you can do to be safe is 5mm.
Ideally a 19x10 +35 offset fits perfect on the front of these S550 cars. +40 offset is ok to run but the wheel won't sit flush, it will slightly sink inside the fenders.

I think a 15mm spacer with 1/2" longer studs should do the trick then. Or maybe a 10mm. I'm obviously not going to find a 13mm spacer.
Let me know what you think please.
