I tried out the Iron buster on my truck yesterday. While it got rid of a fair amount of the fallout, there was still some residual left behind. I did a clay bar wipe down which got rid of the balance, as well as the gritty feel on the paint. Polished up and looks like new. My question is. If...

Thatā€™s good to know, thanks. Iā€™ll check into them.

Definitely. I wouldnā€™t tackle the ppf myself, Iā€™d have that done professionally. As for the coating aspect, is it safe to tackle by a novice?

I'm becoming a pain in the ass lol. Just ordered all the goods to refurbish the GT yesterday, so will tackle that soon. I just bought a brand new truck and would like to ppf the vulnerable areas at the front, but also wanted to ceramic coat it. The truck is black (worst color of course). What...

I'm trying to do up an order for some of these items. What do you recommend to bring life back into the black plastic outside trim pieces.

I've never used the spray on iron remover, how much would you typically use when doing your average vehicle? I have three vehicles to do, so not sure how much I should get. Is this the same product that you'd use as a wheel cleaner?

Question. Iā€™m cleaning up my Tacoma pickup to sell. Itā€™s white, so the iron fallout spots are quite visible. I usually use a clay bar to remove them, but the spray on stuff seems like it would be quicker and easier. Do they work as well, or do you still have to go over it afterwards with the...
  10. Wow What a Difference of Opinion I see about wheel width! Opinions please read!

For those that are running the staggered 19ā€ with the Indy 325ā€™s on the rear, do you feel that they tuck in nicely compared to a 305? LMR has this setup in now and my only concern would be if the 325ā€™s would poke too far. Thanks.

Which Carpro pad should I use with the Essence Plus? are there slightly more abrasive pads if there is a minor scuff that the plus doesnā€™t fill? Thanks for all your help, itā€™s nice to have guys like you that are willing and able to help the newbies out. I looked at the detail thread you added...

I do see that. I want the plus version, correct? If the guy I bought the car from doesnā€™t remember what he used, will using the Essence Plus cause any harm to what may be on the car now? Say for example just a spray or the infused that you mentioned above? What is the best way to decontaminate...

Iā€™m guessing they had to relabel the product so it has both English and French on it.
  15. Show and Shine... Post your ride

Thanks for the reply. Iā€™m in Canada and there is a Carpro distributor here, but the label is different. Would this be the same product?

I have a magnetic metallic car that Iā€™d like to do a thorough cleaning job on. The guy I bought the car from says he did a diy ceramic coat of some type, doesnā€™t remember the name. Paint is in good condition, but does have a few scuffs etc. Is there any does/donā€˜ts associated with doing a mild...
  17. New LMR SVE SP2 Wheels (PP2 Replica)

I donā€™t believe itā€™s available in the 305/35/19 is it?
  18. New LMR SVE SP2 Wheels (PP2 Replica)

Thanks for the reply. Iā€™m thinking of going with the 10ā€ front, 11ā€ rear staggered setup that LMR offers, which uses a 305/35 rear and 285/35 front combination. To be consistent with their recommendation, the 275/35 is the closest that I can get right away. I didnā€™t mention that in my original post.
  19. New LMR SVE SP2 Wheels (PP2 Replica)

Thinking of this wheel setup, but have a question. The Pilot Super Sport at my local shop is out of stock in the 285/35/19, but a 275/35/19 is available. The overall diameter of the 275 is very close to a 285. Seems the big difference is the width, other than a little less poke, any other issues?
  20. Ferrada Wheels | Super Deep Concave widths from 9" to 11.5" Ford Mustang All Models

Iā€™d like to use my existing tires which are 19ā€. Ferrada does a 19ā€ x 8.5ā€ with a 15mm offset in the CM1 which is the wheel Iā€™d like to go with. This set up would be close to the stock PP wheel with a 25mm spacer up front as far as poke. Have you done this particular wheel up front? Wondering...
