Yes, everyone is.

The wheel hop is atrocious.

Huh? First I hear or read of it anywhere or in any road tests. Explain please.

BMR is working on suspension upgrades to help with it. I wish Full Tilt Boogie would make a bushing kit.

IRS is notorious for wheel hop off the line.

Do a launch at 3000 RPM and you'll see.

There are countless videos of it on YouTube and American Mustang mentioned it several times in the first video they did of the 15 GT getting beaten by their bone stock S197 GT...

Correct! We have a car outfitted with a full line-up right now.

We are swamped....but I am going to do the best I can to try and get some nice Before/After GoPro footage of how the rear works in stock form, and with adding our components.

I am hoping to have them available soon. We should be taking orders this quarter, for sure.

Yep.

The ride is WAY better than my 08, no doubt, everyone has commented on how nicely it rides.

But the wheel hop. Oy!!! :frusty:

Yeah it was obvious to me and I assume most others that the 2015 Mustang will be slower in a straight line than the 2011-2014 cars. Just based on weight alone you know it will be slower, but IRS is not the best solution for drag racing either. Fast as the Boss 302 around a track though (I think I heard it's actually significantly faster than the Boss 302).

I gotta say I also love the ride. My 2011 Brembo car would seriously beat me up this time of the year.

Okay, so it's a racing issue. I get it now. Not a concern for me. Whew! :D

I've experienced it merging onto a freeway, pretty far from a race track.

Uh... errr... no. I haven't experienced any such things at all.

My S197 had wheel hop that was flat-out dangerous -- I distinctly remember the first time I accelerated out of the toll booth out of the midtown tunnel, up the ramp to the L.I.E., feeling the car kick out sideways so hard that I thought I'd been hit by somebody. The wheel hop on that was flat-out dangerous if you hit the slightest bump while accelerating (I got used to it after a while, but it was something you always had to be conscious of). I haven't noticed any such things, at all, in the S550.

That's not wheel hop though. The "kick out" is different.

I don't get "kick out" either with the S550 because the IRS eliminates "kick out" almost entirely.

Wheel hop occurs when you do anything other than a granny launch on the car. Have you dumped the clutch at anything higher than 2500 rpm? You'll feel it...

I have to agree for the most part. The wheel hop in my '12 w/ Brembo was insane... My car would shake violently if I didn't pay attention off a stop light. It was bad enough to frighten my girlfriend(she thought my car broke something the first time it happened with her in the car).

So far my s550 hasn't had nearly as much of a problem with wheel hop. I've still noticed it a few times but it doesn't feel like my car is shaking apart now.
