I have a 21 Mustang GT, currently for the rear I have Forgestar F14 18x10 with a 42mm offset I’m on stock height with 295/40R18. I do want to drop it with steeda progressives which is an inch but put a 3/8 spring spacer but also want to go up to 295/45 would I be rubbing on the fender?

That is a tricky one.
From your current image, you'd be fine with a 1 inch drop, and going to 295 is done al the time without rubbing. Where I can't give you an exact answer is in the offset of the wheel with the rest of it. that will determine how close you are sitting to the fender.

Keep in mind that our 3/8 spacers raises 3/4," so that might be a little much.

Usually what would be the offset that doesn’t have any rubbing issues, 50mm?

Steeda Trident Satin Black Wheel - 19x11 (05-26)

+53 puts you right neat the edge without going over. +/- 2 should still keep you in the green.

I've had plenty of customers call and use 305/315 in the rear without issue. Most do go with a 30 profile, maybe 35 if its a 19" instead of a 20"
