20x10.5" +45 305/35 Stock suspension

Wouldn't have it any other way.

Would 295/35/20 on 20x10 work on 1.1" / 1" lowering F/B?

A square setup?

That should be fine depending on what offset the wheels are.
Yeah, i'm aiming for a square setup.

I've been told from some that 295/35/20 might be a bit too big of a tire, and go for 295/30/20 but that has a much smaller diameter than stock 275/40/19 which people put up front (275/40/19: 702.6mm, 295/30/20: 685mm).

If i go for 295/30 in the front, the difference between stock is (255: 686.6mm and 295: 685mm) but I was hoping for a square setup both for the looks and to be able to rotate tires. This also gives me a SMALLER front tire which is not what I'm looking for by going up in wheel size.

For reference, 285/35/20 has a diameter of 707.5mm and works in front with ET35 acc to at least BrantMcE.
The problem with 295 is that it's wider....

I'm planning for going for a ET37-38 to tuck it in a bit but i don't know how much backspace I have compared to the stock wheels? The back should be good, but how about the front struts? How much "closer" can you go compared to stock 255/40/19 wheels?

I really think 30 series tires are too small for these cars unless you are slammed on bags or coils. That's just my opinion though. lol
Again depending on offset, there is plenty of room for a 35 series tire with a moderate drop. I plan on dropping mine with the BMR minimum drop springs once I find some struts.

I will say this. I put my 20x10.5" +45 wheel on the front of my car just to see if it would fit. And it hit the front struts. Not by much but it rubbed it. So with that said a +40 probably would clear it.

So 20x10 with a ET37-38 will be fine. I don't see why a 295/35 would be a problem. I probably should have went with that on my front 20x10 because the 285/35 looks kinda short to me. lol

Ok, so just to clarify; you run a 20x10.5" +45 305/35 in the back and 20x10.5" 285/35 in the front?
