That's the same noise I had (see video) and it's still good after the shaft was replaced (which then of course led to the nut being retightened properly).
Mine is again in the shop for checking the noise. Last thing they replaced was the pumpkin but still no success.
They keep saying it doesn't sound as a bearing issue, although if it's the washer and or/nut that's not OK, it might explain why it returns after a week of silence after each job on...
It's Ford who's been doing it all under warranty so I can't really say what has been checked or not, although i've raised the question about the shafts... Last thing was an entire new pumpkin and it was much better after and still is, but the clunk has been gradually returned - although less...
Yeah, however I haven't abused it any time except hard accelerations and 1 burnout a long time ago before I swapped wheels. This caused nothing.
Now from the diff was changed until the noise was back it took 3 days under which I drove it for perhaps 2 hours in total - very calmly.
I'm still...
I've had the differential replaced now too, and the car was good for a week, but now it's starting to clunk again so that is at least ruled out....
Heard a clunk when releasing the clutch on the ramp out of my garage sometimes, after the driveline is already under load due to the incline...
YES!! Although costly as h*ll so I'm a bit ambivalent towards it at the moment. My boat needs some love too :)
It's the Ford Performance / Eibach Pro-kit lowering it 1" front 0,8" rear if I'm not incorrect.
Uncertain if I've uploaded my baby in this thread already but good things deserve repetition so here she is. Satin Graphite Project 6GR wheels 10/11x20" with Pirelli PZero 275/305/35R20 tires. Good stuff.
Well. strange noise as per video above dissapeared after they've cleaned and greased the splines on the half-shaft going in to the hub. My guess is that it'll come back soon but so far so good (2 days of driving). Rather tired of having the car in the shop 10 times since november and it's going...

They shimmed the diff a couple of weeks ago and then it was fine for a day or two before starting developing into this which is more or less "more of the same as before", so it might as well have been the general setup with shafts etc that needed som time to wiggle loose again after having it...
Update:
Took it out for a spin on some nice winding forest roads and noticed, after it's warmed up, that I heard a "ticking" noise similar to gravel in the wheel bay from the rear right... So... Wheel bearing?
A thing that struck me today is that when servicing the car last time (nov) the rear...

The main cracking noise when maneuvering fwd/rev though is from left side (confirmed) however...
Ok good tip for the future but I don't want to pay for nothing under the warranty. I just want to pin point the problem as the Ford-dealer seems rather bad at doing so and I'd rather have it there for a day or two than several more weeks again before getting it back worse than before.
I would say the play is between the shaft and diff or the bearing in the diff. CV joint/shaft seems good from what I could tell.
If i start jerking the right side wheel only, the play tightens and is slightly moved to right side but not nearly as bad. So for me it seems like the play in the...
