Civil CAD Tech for a medium-sized civil engineering firm in Houston, worked here for about a year now. I get to draw and design roads, roads, and even more roads all day long but I love it! Currently waist deep in the design and working of a major road in Uptown Houston in prep for when the Superbowl hits here in a couple of years. Finally earning enough for GT but wanting a house more instead, going to wait for a couple of years before I pull the trigger on it.
Have my Drafting and Blueprint Design Associates Degree and before I became a desk jockey, I worked as a Millwright Apprentice for Fluor for a couple of years.
Still don't exactly know how I managed to go from manual labor to a office and a desk but I haven't looked back since.
