I'll add Lagavulin 16 to the list!The Lagavulin 16 is my personal favorite. The Bruichladdich is also very interesting, it's actually made from barley grown on the island. The Lagavulin 12 and Laphroaig 10 are both punchy, peaty, cask strengths.
well I don’t drink a lot, so I haven’t tasted all the different alcohols in the world. Aviation is the only gin I’ve drank. So I couldn’t give you an unbiased answer. I do keep buying it though. One of these days I’m gonna make a gin flavoured ice cream though.
Not an AE fan huh? Yeah seems like with that one people either like it or they're turned off, not a lot of people think it's "just OK". Bulleit 10 Year (not pictured) is probably my favorite "obtainable' off the shelf bourbon. Not counting the exotics like Pappy Van Winkle or something.

Pappy isn't exotic, it's overhyped. Then the ridiculous price inflation happened.

I will definitely check that out. I didn't care for gin was I younger but I do enjoy it now. Guess I'm getting old!
