What's your MPG average?

Am I the only one surprised at the average MPG your GT350 is getting? I have put about 150 miles on my R since Saturday afternoon, and I'm averaging 20.1 in combined highway/city. And I was far from hyper-miling it during that time.

Better check your throttle to see if you're getting full travel. Maybe a bird is stuck in the CAI and blocking airflow?

Best tank I've managed to eek out 20 mpg and that is mostly hwy with a few stops and cruising in 6th above 50 mph. Lifetime avg is 16 mpg (3,000 miles now). My first few tanks during break-in were around 12 mpg as I was seating the rings. At least it doesn't burn oil like a lot of the coyotes out there.

I think I'm around 18 mpg for lifetime mileage at just over 1,000 miles. We hit 21.1 on the way down to Daytona for the Rolex 24. My lowest was during the break in trip home from the dealer where it was 14ish.

It's pretty easy to get low numbers in this one.

Yeah I agree the mpg is better than I expected. Of course things will change when it gets warm and I can wind it out.

Mine reports 14.8 lifetime average though i have seen it report 21.3 on a well behaved interstate stretch.

Seems like the gas gauge could be as quick as the tach.

I get around 13.6 around town and have done 19 on a highway drive on miles per gallon.

On SMILES per gallon, I get lots!

Took my R on a 320 mile road trip to visit my parents this weekend. The journey was comprised of a mix of interstate, divided highway and two-lane rural highway. The trip included a couple of all out runs by my friend (who returned the favor in his modded C7 Z51 Corvette) and I averaged 21.7 mpg. Crazy stuff.

I recently took a 400 mile round trip starting with 130 miles on the car. I averaged about 70 mph. I tried to vary my speed so I would switch back and forth between 5th and 6th gears. I also did a few 3/4 throttle pulls up to about 5500 to help the rings seat. To my surprise and delight I got 25.7 mpg.

A Bugatti Veyron will drain it's full gas tank in 8 minutes going full throttle. Is it possible you have a stone of a right foot?
