Just Curious you live in the No. Calif Bay Area. And If the traffic in Northern California is anywhere like Southern California how do you get your car and six gear.... I grew up in Whittier calif in the 50's we did not have the Traffic problem back then, and I use to run to the Bay Area in 1968 and the Traffic was not too bad then..... Ha! Every time I go visit my kid in Long Beach Calif. and jump on one of the Freeways they come do a standstill.... Just asking... :cheers: John

I work "off shift" hours and do not suffer the same traffic woes others do. My drive to and from work is enjoyable. It's nice to arrive to work with a smile on my face.

I haven't bothered....but I know when I have driven it to work (100 mile round trip) it generally burns through 1/2 tank

I live in the mountains, and haven't done any city driving yet. I picked the car up from the dealer (8800 ft.), immediately got on the highway up to 11,000 ft. and then down to about 5000 ft. During that first 100 miles I constantly varied speed, gears, and throttle for breakin. Got gas at 212 miles and averaged 21.6 mpg. I don't have any problem flogging it, and have had it to 8000 rpm, so I'm very happy so far.

As mentioned above, 6th is not for up hill.
