Yes, for no known reason we should assume the almighty 2017 will come with the perforated version. You should trade in your 2016 just to get the red stitched perforated version ;) ?!?

Oil change doesn't affect it. I've changed the oil twice on mine now and it's the same.

Has anyone found anything more definitive about this? It was in the 30's today on the drive to work and it was more noticeable than usual. I haven't taken the cover off underneath to check for loose bolts yet.

I've scrapped a few times in the 1,100 miles I've driven. Was underneath and noticed the rivets that hold the splitter together are what takes the beating. The plastic doesn't have a scratch on it. I'd be curious if you could just put new rivets in and not worry.
