No, I should do what I WANT, not what everyone else tells me what I should be doing with my life.
'Muy Excellente!'

It appears you, like me, are a corporation's/marketer's worst nightmare. :fistbump:

I don't want you to go on holidays. What would I read over my morning coffee? My wallet would be fat and I'd have NFI what to use it all for which would create pesky dilemmas. I'd have to find another go-to thread on M6G. Seriously, please stay home :giggle:

Hey DFB, another question for you. I found this on the side of my truck preparing for ceramic coating. I can't seem to clay it gone even with my harder clay that requires buffing after use. It might be some iron based stuff I'm not sure. It splashed up on the truck before any sealant was on the paint 🤦‍♂️ i didn't see it for a week cuz i went on vacation/holiday. Any idea what this is?

No, I really do have a terrible sense of direction. My father on the other hand is brilliant, so is my sister, so I missed out on that gene.
It IS a "thing" D. My wife is no Magellan and neither is her sister or older brother. But, her younger brother has a GPS in his head and, so does one of his two sons. The other? Utterly lost without his phone, so I get it, I just feel badly about it. Girls can get away without the ability but it's much more difficult for a man so I feel your anxiety.

Although I'm tending to use Waze a lot more in trying to get those demerit points under control!
I very rarely leave this little burg and as it happens, had to take a trip upstream to San Antonio this week but had forgotten about Waze, thanks for the reminder Adam.

I have o/s trip #126 coming up in 2 weeks, Chicago IL.
Try as I might, I couldn't decode the acronym..what's o/s? Out of Service? <smile>

OK now see, there's no anxiety in that statement and you are most correct. To Hell with those who say otherwise.

D's travel anxiety aside, that was rather humorous, GT5. <smile>

Start with an iron remover, allow to react, then rinse clear.

If it still remains, try a tar remover in the same manner, lightly agitate with a microfiber if needed. (Carpro TarX, Adams Tar Remover, Stoner Tarminator)

If both fail, I would spot polish the area with a light compound.

Ok, i did indeed try TarX to no avail. I have to polish the whole thing anyway for a mechanical abrasion according to car pro. So I'll try that tonight after work. Thanks!

Out of service is OOS
Currently I’m OOS O/S - Philippines

DFB, that hasn’t stopped me ordering Reset and PERL from Waxit Sale for when I arrive back in a fortnight.
Also stocked up on variety of test and try cheap tyre dressing applications from TEMU/ ALI - see what works best. Disposable gloves too for finishing off the Meguairs Endurance.

I want to try the “insane gloss” of Beadmaker although I’m very happy with performance of Boost V2 in water repellent category. A call to Detailing Shed out east awaits and I’m disappointed they only have the 30cm square Gauntlet in stock.

BTW, low km red manual Mustang in regional Vic - is that a car we are familiar with?
Good luck with newbie - Ray

The best way to finish off Meguiar's Endurance is to throw it in the bin! Job done in less than 30-seconds. :like:

Because Bead Maker is a polymer sealant, its has a similar look and feel to a traditionally applied wax or sealant rather than the stark, sterile gloss of a Si02-based spray sealant or coating. Both are obviously glossy, just a different tone, with Bead Maker being a warmer glow and an Si02 being like glazed candy.

Not my car if that's what you are referencing. I'm just going to trade it at the dealer, drive in and drive out, no fuss. I also want to have both parked in front of the dealership for photos.

Of the countless products and brands that I cycle through, the biggest compliment I can give a brand or product is if I go to buy it again...................

I know Armour Detail Supply is the current buzz brand, but there is genuine reason for that hype. There is not a dud in line, but there are products I'm using more than others. Pilot won me over the second I opened the bottle, and Amplify is simply brilliant, no if's, buts or maybes!

The wheel coating is for the new Mustang. I'm still wondering if I go wax or a coating with the S650, but I've now crossed out Gyeon Mohs EVO and have ADS Quartz in my sights.

Also included in this order were three MTM weighted filters for the PF22.2 foam cannons. These were introduced on the updated PF22.2 and are now available for retrofitting existing foam cannons. I have been running one of my PF22.2's with a Kwazar weighted filter and it has really improved the functionality of the foam cannon, especially when approaching the last 100ml of liquid. No reason why these MTM filters couldn't be adapted to other brand foam cannons. For $6.00, its a now brainer.

I used a cannon with one of those filters when I did the wife's car with OG Decon last week and as I mentioned. I was blown away by the quality and thickness of the foam. But, I attributed it to Matt's recipe for the stuff, not the cannon and new filter. Maybe a little help from both parties? :=)

Does Pilot have any scent to it? At the risk of being picky that was one reason I grabbed a bottle of Griot's the last time we were posting about interior cleaning.

Yes it does, ADS told me it was pear, but I call it cologne. Thing is, it doesn’t linger at all, its purely for the user’s pleasure.
