Continue to rent for now until the election is done and over and you what direction the country is heading. A house is not necessarily a good investment right now.

Buy a Raptor. Sell the Lariat. Take the cash left over and have a hell of a party. You are 25. Take it from a 54 year old. Have fun while you are still young.

The thing I don't like about the new triumphs, they are water cooled. Hell yeah! Lol.
Loud pipes saves life's lol.

I've never really ridden. Always been interested - so I don't have an affinity for any particular technology. I just know what I like for looks and then I make sure it checks the boxes as being a little unique with good performance :)

I'm 45 and it's exciting to me. Not the same a dirt bikes. I always wanted a Norton or triumph. I have no interest in jap bikes. I like British bikes. What I'd really like to have is a 60s Norton or triumph. When Norton went back into business a few years ago and made it public that they were going to be hand made and assembled in England and with Ohlins suspension, Brembo brakes, still push rod and air cooled I had to have one. Some people waited 4 years after a down payment to get theirs. I was lucky and didn't have to wait that long. All the Nortons are limited production and are considered boutique bikes. Triumphs are nice bikes also. I might get one in the near future, but I rather have air cooled. I also like the moto Guzzi v7.
For me, it's gotta be a cafe bike and naked.
To me Harley's are ok, but they don't do anything for me and everyone has one. Anywhere I go people always ask about my bike. They have a classic look, sound like the 60's bikes, the trans makes a awesome sound etc. British bikes rule.
If you ever get bored YouTube Isle of Man TT videos.

I love the way all the GT folks say buy GT and mod, the 350 guys say get another one! You have to assume the GT folks have never driven the 350 then. Folks, I love the GTs too (I wish I would've kept my '15 GTPP as a daily), but for cost of heavily modified GT, you still aren't at driving experience of 350 and you're within shouting distance of price. You can get them at MSRP now, well at least after the stop sale is over. 350 isn't about blowing the doors off someone. It's a more raw sports car experience. It took me several thousand miles to understand this, but the cars couldn't be more different.

That seems like a great balance.

I'm all for this line of thought.

Stop light to stop light?
one stop light to light. the other was running down the freeway. we got off at the same off ramp and chatted for 30 mins. He said he could have had me but got scared going over 140 on the freeway...

I can offer a little advice. At 31 I can say that buying a house at 26 was the best financial decision I've made outside of my career. I did get very lucky with market timing but if you do it right you will make much more on your investment than you possibly can with a depreciating asset like a new sports car. Right now we are already comfortable, and so I am splurging a little bit. I wouldn't recommend having your cake before dinner, if you get my drift.

Separately, I am coming from 4 BMWs in a row (2007 328i, 2011 335iM, 2011 135i, 2013 335iM) and I can say without a doubt that someone that appreciates the GT350 for the engaging driving experience is not going to love one of the current generation BMWs (except maybe the 2 series which I have not driven). They are fantastic cars but there's not a ton of engaging spirit in the f30/32 series. The 2011 135i was the best one of the bunch. I would doubt you'd find what you're looking for with BMW bud.
