Question for the oil gurus, you think Rotella T6 5W40 would be an acceptable substitute for Motorcraft's ridiculously priced 5w50? Other than blind fear of straying from OEM, any thoughts? I would think full syn 5w40 being good enough for a Ferrari 458 would be good enough for us. Just wondering.

Ford I love you but I have no regret going with a 2017 s550 over this. It's like they changed the styling benchmark more from European to Japanese, and that is not necessarily a good thing.
