Hey guys. I just bought the GT with PP that comes with the 19 x 9 (F) and 19 x 9.5 (R) wheels, and I am looking to buy a set of rims and tires for the car. Where is the cheapest place to get a set of aftermarket rims that will fit this car? I am new to the mustang world, and do not have much car knowledge so take it easy on me, I am trying to learn as much as possible for when my car comes in the middle of the winter lol. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you.

I was thinking of just doing 245/45/19 in a square winter setup on the stock wheels.

Remember, im new to all this  What's a square winter setup?
It just means that I was going to use the same tire width for all 4 tires instead of wider rear tires like the car comes with from the factory.

Yeah I've been pretty lost as to getting wheels for the winter. TireRack doesn't have anything listed yet for the 2015's. Anybody have a set of wheels that they know will fit over the EB PP brakes? Or any website where I can look?

Does my logic make sense?
I have the stock 18s on the EB Premium. I am thinking of using those rims with new winter rubber and going with new rims and tires for summer.

It will leave me with an extra set of AS that I may try to sell.

I think tire rack has a write up (maybe under faq) where they talk about the advantages of a square winter setup.

Cliff notes are a bit saved on tires & wheels, & a more narrow rear can get better traction on ice & snow (and rain??).

Everything I have seen so far is saying that with the GT PP you aren't going to be able to fit an 18" wheel. I would prefer to have an 18" squared setup for winter, but that doesn't look like a possibility with the 15" Brembos up front. I am surprised that TireRack hasn't had the chance to test fit wheels or at least get measurements yet so they can offer up some winter packages for the S550.

Fortunately I don't take delivery until February so I have time to make a decision.

I bought a set of Blizzak LM-32's for my PP. They're the same specs as the summer only tires... 255/40/19 in the front, 275/40/19 in the back.

Runs about $1200... IMO, I'd rather have quality winter tires for my stock wheels so I don't end up in a ditch, rather than buying some cheap set of tires and rims.

Plus, both sets will stay in a good shape for a few years if you switch them out appropriately.

I planned on getting Blizzaks! I wanted cheap rims, not cheap tires. And do you have your car already? Do those tires fit properly?
