What oil are y’all running?

Before installing my Whipple, I ordered oil and other stuff. They recommend Motorcraft 5w-50 so that’s what I went with but damn that stuff is hard to find… and expensive. What do you use?

Pennzoil platinum euro 5w40 or Quaker state euro 5w40. The Quaker state is about 1/3 the price for the same stuff.

5w50 amsoil in the summer, half 0w40 and 5w50 in the winter. I also always include ceratec every oil change, atleast 1 bottle with great results.

It doesn’t. There’s no such thing as a 2.5 or 45 weight. It’s probably 0w40, possibly 5w50, with an off chance it might be 5w40.

If you want to run Motorcraft, O’Reilly seems to have a good price @ $8.99/quart.
