What is this thing?

This was in my 350R when it was delivered to me. I assume it has something to do with dealer prep, but I don't know. Anyone know what it is?

I think it's meant to protect the clutch pedal and keep the spring from flying off during installation.

Yeah I've seen a thread regarding this tool, on this website. IIRC, it's an assembly line tool used during clutch pedal installation.

Your car just went up in value... you have the last Shelby assembled with a clutch tool!

I had one in my 350 when I took delivery back in 2017. I posted the same question, and never got a definitive answer on what it was.
