Well I think it's kinda hard to pinpoint determine via a recording but it probably is if it sounds like a tick-tick-tick in person. If you're still unsure, just have it checked at a dealership.
i got it checked out at the dealership and they gave me the okay i left it there for about a week since the tech had to fly down and check the motor. seems theres only one guy that looks at our cars motors.Well I think it's kinda hard to pinpoint determine via a recording but it probably is if it sounds like a tick-tick-tick in person. and yes its a tick tick tick everytime it rumbles from the idle .the tic sound syncs with the rumble from the idle.Well I think it's kinda hard to pinpoint determine via a recording but it probably is if it sounds like a tick-tick-tick in person. I've noticed it a week after i got it from the dealer i wasn't really paying attention much with how the engine sounded though so it might've been there the whole time. But i got it checked out at my local dealer and they said its normal. Now im running E85 and the sound, sounds more consistent and louder than before but could be me. i didnt notice it before when it was on a a blend of e85 id say it was about e40 or e45 and it wasnt noticable. If its the fuel whys it the fuel thats causing that? sorry for the long paragraphIf it's flex fuel, try a blend. The car sounds like it can be cranky with just e85. Try e60.
Is this something you definitely know just started? Or did you just notice it?
